Watercolour on 140 lb cold press paper, 18″ x 12″. This ballerina was inspired by a picture I found, dating 1948, of a ballerina, Moira Shearer, performing on stage as Cinderella. This picture was in The Royal Ballet book that I purchased some years back from a used books store. This book is filled with amazing old photographs that I know I will be coming back to for more inspiration.
